How Should You Choose What Stroller To Buy?
For a baby, the number one thing should be suitability safety. This could
be followed by durability, baby comfort, size and convenience, weight etc.
The first thing we did was find a sample of independent stroller review
sites and see which strollers score consistently well for safety. Never
compromise on this if possible. This includes ensuring the stroller allows
the baby to lie in a flat position, which is critical. The label should explicitly
say suitable from birth.
Next for us was durability and versatility. We wanted a solid stroller that
could also fit a car seat and had a seat. These are sometimes called travel
systems. This made it simpler to meet the babies longterm travel needs. If
you don't need a travel system, solidity is still important and you can look
for the sturdiest stand-alone stroller.
Factors like ease of folding and size when folding might be important
depending on your situation, although its not critical. Also think about the
attachments that come with the stroller - are they included or an extra
cost?
This range of factors should help you make an informed choice….but
always safety first.
